...i know this is an older post, but i love it! :)

i love the lolita style, but prefer wearing the more rebellious 90's kinderwhore look. it's a lot tougher looking, with less of an emphasis on actually looking like a child. very riot grrrl.

think flowered sundresses, and scraped knees. rough, and tumble. like when your mom used to dress you up in an easter dress, and you climbed a tree in it.

heehee...jeeze i miss the 90'snopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03628593312525183098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502242515856979429.post-23069167124957902872009-01-13T18:15:00.000-08:002009-01-13T18:15:00.000-08:00Did you happen to dress up as Luna from Sailor moo...Did you happen to dress up as Luna from Sailor moon?Gold-Talioned-Lionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02844435019490709594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502242515856979429.post-76687540163023521412008-12-03T22:03:00.000-08:002008-12-03T22:03:00.000-08:00Paisley Girl, thanks =) And it makes sense that i...Paisley Girl, thanks =) And it makes sense that it's sexy since the rise in popularity in jeans, hosiery mostly associated with lingerie. & can't wait to see the picture!

Marina, sure, boots are awesome. In the back of my mind I always thought while it was an interesting way of dress and I liked it, I thought there was also something sexual about it. Now I see my thinking was way off.

And the thing about the legs, its interesting too. I was talking to my ex today, who has a thing for all things Asian, and asked him about his thoughts on the Lolita style of dress. He said he could take it or leave it, it does nothing for him. I said well its not a sexual thing. He was actually shocked by that. But he did comment on the leg covering. he said a short skirt or dress and black tights, knee socks, pantyhose, etc. just gets him excited. He said there is just something sexy about legs covered up than the bare leg. I guess because it is deemed sexy or something a woman wears when she is in the mood. Since as you said more women are going the way of dressing more relaxed or more like men, when they don the pantyhose men know they are getting lucky. And I also prefer a covered leg too, because just today I saw Victoria Beckham and Solange Knowles out and about in the cutest dresses but they didn't have pantyhose on and it unnerved me. Just thought their legs would look better with pantyhose. I never realized this thing about covered legs until now. Very interesting. LOL! Oh and I haven't forgotten about showing you the picture of my sister. There is one certain one that really shows it, just need to find it. I'll do that this week. :-)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06183532327061430236noreply@blogger.com
